Lead me on the Rock!...

Your Certainty
David was a shepherd. He knew what he had to do to lead his sheep to safe pasture, to have water for them, and to protect them from predators. But when it came to his own safety and protection, he did not rely upon himself. He prayed to God to hear his cry and answer his prayer…to lead him to the “rock that is higher than I.”
Lead me to the rock that is higher than I.
Psalm 61:2
He needed divine intervention because his own resources were inadequate and insufficient. And so are yours, dear friend. It matters not what your situation is. You need David’s “rock”…God, who is above all things. He never changes. He provides shelter from the storms of life. He is a strong tower of protection. He is the giver of your salvation (Psalm 61:1-5). If you know Him, you will have hope. He will be your fortress, your refuge. Be confident in Him and you will not be shaken (Psalm 62:2).

Have certainty today that when you call upon the Lord, He will answer in an amazing way (Jeremiah 33:3). Put the needs of this country and the concerns of your life in His hands. Then give Him praise for what He will do.
