Spiritual Midnight

Will He find you alert and eagerly awaiting His return? Or will you be left behind?

Matthew 25:1-13

King James Version (KJV)

 1Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom.
 2And five of them were wise, and five were foolish.
 3They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them:
 4But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps.
 5While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept.
 6And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him.
 7Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps.
 8And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out.
 9But the wise answered, saying, Not so; lest there be not enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves.
 10And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut.
 11Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us.
 12But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not.
 13Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh.

The Power of the Bible Words

Isaiah 55:6-13

King James Version (KJV)

6Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near:
 7Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.
 8For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD.
 9For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.
 10For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater:
 11So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.
 12For ye shall go out with joy, and be led forth with peace: the mountains and the hills shall break forth before you into singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands.
 13Instead of the thorn shall come up the fir tree, and instead of the brier shall come up the myrtle tree: and it shall be to the LORD for a name, for an everlasting sign that shall not be cut off.

Special letter

I received this letter and the timing was very special to me!   God loves all of us the same!

Romans 8:31 (KJV) What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?

"Dear carolina,

Ever had days you feel all alone? Ever felt like nobody cares about your circumstances, your hurts, even your dreams?

Let me encourage you. I may not know all the specific challenges you’re facing, but these two things will make all the difference:
First, I want you to know that God is with you. Second, I want you to know that God is for you.

No matter how alone you feel, no matter how discouraged you might be...God will always be with you and for you. He’s promised it, and God doesn’t break His promises.

I pray that you will keep this incredible promise front and center in your life every day!

If you do, fear and worry won’t be able to steal your joy. The circumstances of life will not dictate your future. Sickness and financial lack will not have its way in your life. When God is with you and for you, no person, no situation, no circumstance can keep you from the blessings of God.

The same God who created the heavens and the earth, who spoke the universe into existence, who knows everything that will ever happen in your life...is WITH YOU and FOR YOU.

When God is for you, nothing can win against you. Not the pain of your past, not the mistakes you’ve made, not a bad economy or ANYTHING else on earth.
It doesn’t matter what you’re not — it only matters who God is.

If you’ve offered your life to Christ, if you love God with all your heart, He’s promised to always be with you and for you.

My wife and I want you to meet every challenge as an opportunity for God to show Himself strong on your behalf. Always remember that God is with you and He’s for you and wants you to receive those things you’ve longed for, prayed for and hoped for.

We love you and we’re praying that you will experience more and more of the amazing,
abundant life that God’s prepared for you!

Today, we want to ask you to join us in sharing hope. It’s because of your support that we can continue to do all the things we believe God has called us to do. Thank you and God bless you! "

YOUR promise of Pentecost

A very special letter I received

Dear Carolina,

Do you need a new fire - a refreshing of the Holy Spirit - to become who God intended you to be? You need Pentecost in your life now in a real and powerful way! And this year, this Pentecost, you can receive an OUTPOURING!

You need the fire of God burning in your bones -- the fire that will cause you to meet every challenge with boldness and confidence as thedisciples of Jesus did. This outpouring of fire will expose the schemes of the enemy, break every yoke and release the power of God in your life.

I’m talking about the fire of the Lord inside of you! Sound too amazing? It’s not! The disciples had it - just read Acts 2 and 3.

Jesus Christ "has broken down the middle wall of separation"

What a powerful message!  v 14 For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us;

Ephesians 2

 1And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins;
 2Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience:
 3Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others.
 4But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us,
 5Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)
 6And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:
 7That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus.
 8For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
 9Not of works, lest any man should boast.
 10For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.
 11Wherefore remember, that ye being in time past Gentiles in the flesh, who are called Uncircumcision by that which is called the Circumcision in the flesh made by hands;
 12That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world:
 13But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ.
 14For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us;
 15Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace;
 16And that he might reconcile both unto God in one body by the cross, having slain the enmity thereby:
 17And came and preached peace to you which were afar off, and to them that were nigh.
 18For through him we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father.
 19Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the household of God;
 20And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone;
 21In whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord:
 22In whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit.

Teaching Sound Doctrine!

Titus 2

Qualities of a Sound Church
 1 But as for you, speak the things which are proper for sound doctrine: 2 that the older men be sober, reverent, temperate, sound in faith, in love, in patience; 3 the older women likewise, that they be reverent in behavior, not slanderers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things— 4 that they admonish the young women to love their husbands, to love their children, 5 to be discreet, chaste, homemakers, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God may not be blasphemed.
6 Likewise, exhort the young men to be sober-minded, 7 in all things showing yourself to be a pattern of good works; in doctrine showingintegrity, reverence, incorruptibility,[a] 8 sound speech that cannot be condemned, that one who is an opponent may be ashamed, having nothing evil to say of you.[b]
9 Exhort bondservants to be obedient to their own masters, to be well pleasing in all things, not answering back, 10 not pilfering, but showing all good fidelity, that they may adorn the doctrine of God our Savior in all things.
Trained by Saving Grace

11 For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men, 12 teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly in the present age, 13 looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ, 14 who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from every lawless deed and purify for Himself His own special people, zealous for good works.
15 Speak these things, exhort, and rebuke with all authority. Let no one despise you.
