Prayer

Elijah was a man just like us. He prayed earnestly that it would not rain, and it did not rain on the land for three and a half years. Again he prayed, and the heavens gave rain, and the earth produced its crops.
James 5:17-18

Prayer is the key to conforming ourselves to His image when the fires of life threaten to consume us. Only prayerful fellowship with God will always see us through and give us direction.

We are besieged daily by thoughts that try to sway us and situations that require God’s wisdom to move in His ways. Prayer is our lifeline. Elijah prayed and rain came; Moses prayed and the rock gushed water. Prayer has provided hundreds of people with miracles, even today! “Pray without ceasing,” says
1 Thessalonians5:17.

Jeremiah 33:3 says, “Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.”
