Unless a grain of wheat falls into the ground.....

John 12:24

Most assuredly, I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the ground and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it produces much grain.

I find myself bringing up the subject of death before having something renewed or alive and flourishing.
There is frustrations sometimes that things don't happen the way we want and when we want.

You always have to give it a little time, sometimes is more then just a little; but keep in mind that everything is planned by God and He has the right answer at the right time.

Take time to plan a trip in spring in a place where people still grow crop and eventually start having a conversation about their work; they will show you passion for what they do and they know that after seeding there is not much they can do but wait, and patiently wait for the crop to grow; then that is the time they celebrate, bring the harvest to the table and thank God for bringing results to their hard work.

So, plant your seed and know that God is watching over it and bring it to a full product.

I still love this part of the verse: but if it dies, it produces much grain.

  1. Sow a lot of good seed (act on a predetermined plan) and expect a harvest. God is in charge of the harvest, we are responsible to learn how to plan, then to plant and then to expect the harvest.
